COLUMBUS, Ohio (Sept. 13, 2024)- REALTOR® Lynda Long, of Columbus, was honored with the Ohio REALTORS 2024 Mary L. Pollock Lifetime Achievement Award on Sept 10.
The award, now in its sixth year, is presented to a deserving Ohio REALTOR who has gone above and beyond the call of duty on behalf of the profession – someone who performs the hard, necessary work to move the organization forward without seeking the accolade or spotlight.
Long’s selection was announced at the Ohio REALTORS 114th Annual Convention & EXPO, in Columbus.
“Lynda’s service to the REALTOR community not only in central Ohio but throughout the state has been her legacy,” said Columbus REALTORS® President Scott Hrabcak. “We congratulate Lynda on this well-deserved recognition from Ohio REALTORS.
Long (pictured third from left) was the President of Columbus REALTORS® in 2002 after serving as the Secretary (1999), Treasurer (2000), and President-Elect (2001). In 1999, Long was named the Columbus REALTORS® Salesperson of the Year.
In 2012, Long received the Ohio Distinguished Service Award. In addition to serving on the Columbus REALTORS® Board of Directors, Long has also served on the National Association of Realtors (NAR) Board of Directors.
