Thank you to all of our REALTOR® Care Day volunteers and sponsors!
This is one of the largest days of service in our industry, and it is only possible and made successful by you, your support, and participation. So many of our members made such a huge impact at the "Main Project", sponsoring and building 111 care baskets, assembling a shed from the ground up, picking up trash in and around the facility, organizing storage areas, preparing fruit and snack bags, and completely refurbishing the raised garden beds and children's playground at the Van Buren Shelter. Not only did you donate your time and resources on June 11, but you gave back to your community in a crucial way - by helping those who are experiencing housing insecurity get back onto the path of stable housing. We would also like to thank Jets Pizza Columbus for donating food for REALTOR® Care Day volunteers and DOUBLING their donation to provide to those in the care of the Van Buren Shelter as well!
And we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every Area Association and Joint Industry Association who organized one of the many REALTOR® Care Day projects around central Ohio and gathered throughout the week to accomplish their goals to serve our community in different ways. Sorting through donations, landscaping, making blankets, building beds, painting, hosting a baby shower for moms-to-be… you did it all!
The Columbus REALTORS® Foundation, the REALTOR® Care Day Committee and our members were able to make an impact in communities all over, thanks to your hard work, generosity and commitment!
