The Coming Soon status was approved by the Columbus REALTORS® MLS Committee and the MLS Board of Directors in October 2020 and is effective November 9, 2020.
This status is a brand-new tool that brokers and agents can choose to use to “get the word out” about an upcoming listing that isn’t quite ready to hit the market. It is important to remember that this new status is an option – it is not a requirement.
Coming Soon Status Rules:
Listings may remain in “Coming Soon” status for a maximum of 30 days. The “Coming Soon period” is measured from List Date to “Active on MLS Date” Yard signs require a “Coming Soon” rider during the “Coming Soon” status period Advertising is permitted. Showings are not allowed while the listing is in Coming Soon status. Days on Market will not accumulate while a listing is in Coming Soon status.
Subscription auto-email will not include Coming Soon listings until they convert to Active listing status.
