Columbus REALTORS® is hosting “The State of Housing and Development in Central Ohio” on Thursday, June 27 from 1-3 p.m. at Villa Milano.
The event will highlight the region’s economic prosperity, smart growth, and the challenges we face in the coming years. Our region has been dubbed “The Silicon Heartland” and is booming. We are witnessing an increase in small and large businesses. The commercial real estate market is experiencing a positive uptick and transportation is a hot topic. With growth and development comes challenges. The need for more housing and more housing diversity and affordability will be discussed.
Speakers include Kenny McDonald, President and CEO of The Columbus Partnership and William Murdock, Executive Director of the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC).
7-time Emmy award winner and former 10TV journalist, Scott Light will moderate a pane featuring Jon Melchi, Executive Director of the Building Industry Association of Central Ohio, and a representative from DRK & Company Realty. Additional panelists are being confirmed.
