COLUMBUS, Ohio — Columbus REALTORS® is proud to announce that Qiana Jones has been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Michael L. Jones Bridge Builder Award. This honor recognizes an individual whose ongoing efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion have fostered positive change and greater opportunity within the real-estate community and beyond.
“Qiana’s dedication to bridging communities through equity and opportunity exemplifies the values we hold dear,” said 2025 Columbus REALTORS® President Buffie Patterson. “Her work shows us that real estate can be an incredible vehicle for access, equity, and building generational wealth.”
Jones will receive the award at the Columbus REALTORS® Awards Gala in December 2025.
Jones is the Associate Broker at Just Listed Real Estate. She previously served as President of the Columbus Realtist Association, as 2nd Vice President of the Ohio Realtist Association, and as 3rd Vice President of the Women’s Council of Realtors. She is currently a member of the Columbus REALTORS® Board of Directors, and in 2026, she will join the Executive Committee as the Board of Directors’ Secretary.
She has earned several industry honors, including the Columbus REALTORS® Merit Award and the Ohio REALTORS® Award of Achievement. She also earned “Emerging Leader” recognition from the National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) in 2019 and 2021.
Since 2018, all of Jones’ real estate transactions have focused on affordable housing and serving minority clients — reflecting her mission to build multi-generational wealth through homeownership across underserved communities.
Her commitment to equity, service, and leadership within both the profession and the community makes her a fitting 2025 Bridge Builder Award honoree.
The Bridge Builder Award recognizes individuals who champion diversity, equity, and inclusion within Columbus REALTORS® and the broader real estate industry. The award honors those who foster communication across groups, advocate for underrepresented populations, and lead efforts that expand access and equity. The award’s namesake, Michael L. Jones, was its first recipient in 2023. In 2024, Noorwood “Buzz” Thomas received the honor, which is selected by the Columbus REALTORS® Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee.
