COLUMBUS, Ohio (Aug. 28, 2024)- Anita Ricketts, the Principal Broker of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, responsible for 90 offices and 1100 agents, is the 2024 Columbus REALTORS Broker of the Year.
A 40+ year veteran of the industry, Ricketts obtained her real estate license in 1981 and her broker’s license in 2003.
Although a broker on the statewide level, Ricketts has spent most of her career in Logan County and served as a past president of both the Logan County Board of REALTORS®, now named Midwestern Ohio Association of REALTORS® (MOAR) and the Western Regional Information System Technology (WRIST).
She also owned and operated her brokerage, Real Living Ricketts & Co., from 2004-2009 and partnered with HER, Realtors® in 2009.
Ricketts currently serves on the Columbus REALTORS® MLS Board of Directors, which she chaired in 2023, the Broker Advisory Council, and is a past member of the Strategic Planning Committee Advisory Panel.
She currently serves on Ohio REALTORS® Professional Standards Committee, is a past member of its Board of Directors, representing MOAR, and has served several years as a member of the Grievance, Legal Issues, MLS Forum, Ombudsman, and Professional Development committees.
Her civic activities include serving as director of Logan County Metropolitan Housing, past director of Logan Belle Hand, and ambassador chair of the County Chamber of Commerce, where she also served a three-year term.

Ricketts holds the Graduate REALTORS® Institute (GRI) Designation and has received numerous awards, including MOAR’s Professional of the Year, REALTOR® of the Year, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and Manager of the Year with HER REALTORS®.
