Officer election

Election: Nov. 23, 2020 (by the Board of Directors)
Anyone wishing to run for Secretary must be a REALTOR® member in good standing (residential or commercial) and have served as an elected or appointed voting Director of the Columbus REALTORS® for a minimum of three (3) years. Further, an individual who has served as Director as the chair of the Commercial Advisory Board is eligible for Officer election if they have served a minimum of three years on the Commercial Advisory Board.
Applicants must recognize the volunteer time involved in these positions and be willing to serve to their fullest capacity. This includes committing to serve as an officer for the next five years as secretary, treasurer, president-elect, president, and immediate past president.
DIRECTOR Election

Election: Nov. 3 - 10, 2020
Anyone wishing to run for one of the four 3-year Director positions must be a Columbus REALTOR® member (residential or commercial) in good standing of the Association for a minimum of three successive years.
This year’s election will also include one 2-year Affiliate Director position.
The following criteria will be considered:
Service on Columbus REALTORS® committees Service as chair of Columbus REALTORS® committees Demonstrated support for Columbus REALTORS® advocacy, for example (and not limited to): REALTOR® Care Day, Columbus REALTORS® Foundation and CORPAC Service to the community Success in the industry
Election of the Nominating Committee
Columbus REALTOR® members will elect four members to serve on the Nominating Committee at the Annual Business Meeting, Thursday, Oct. 15, 2020. Due to the Coronavirus, this year’s annual meeting will be held online. The Nominating Committee for Directors consists of four REALTOR® members who are neither current Directors nor past presidents; the elected REALTOR® Directors whose terms expire this year; and one past president appointed by the current President. If you wish to serve on the Nominating Committee but cannot be at the Annual Business Meeting, please submit your written consent to the CEO in advance. No member of the Nominating Committee may be nominated to run on the slate of candidates. In order to serve on the Nominating Committee, you must be able to attend both of the following meetings:
9a Monday, Oct. 19, 2020 (to select nominees) and 1p Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2020 (to confirm the election)
Commercial Advisory Board election

Election: Nov. 13 - 20, 2020
Anyone interested in running for a 3-year term on the Columbus REALTORS® Commercial Advisory Board must have been a REALTOR® member of the Columbus REALTORS® for at least three consecutive years and a member of the association’s Commercial section.
MLS COMMITTEE ELECTION

Election: Nov. 23 - Dec. 3, 2020
Any Participant or licensee associated with a MLS Participant and designated by the Participant may be eligible for election to the MLS Committee, provided that not more than four Committee Members are from each Participant company until or unless the Participant company’s units of activity warrant increased representation.
