If Franklin County issues a Level 2 Snow Emergency, Columbus REALTORS® classes, events and meetings are canceled for the day. Check Snow Emergency Level.
Registrants will be notified if the class, event or committee meeting is rescheduled as soon as that information is known.
Any payment received for a class or event can either be applied to another class or refunded upon request.
Registrants who reside in another county under a Level 2 Snow Emergency at the time of the event (even though Franklin County has not issued a Level 2 Snow Emergency), will be excused and payment may be applied to another class or refunded upon request.
Even though events are canceled, Columbus REALTORS® will attempt to remain open for business. Please call first if you are planning to travel to Columbus REALTORS® to ensure that we are in a position to meet your needs.
If Franklin County declares a Level 3 Snow Emergency, Columbus REALTORS® will be closed for the day.
There are three levels of snow emergency levels which cover all of Franklin County, including the city of Columbus. Snow emergencies are declared by the Sheriff of Franklin County. LEVEL 1: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be icy. Motorists are urged to drive very cautiously.
LEVEL 2: Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow. Roads may also be very icy. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roads. Contact your employer to see if you should report to work. Motorists should use extreme caution.
LEVEL 3: All roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel or a personal emergency exists. All employees should contact their employer to see if they should report to work. Those traveling on the roads may subject themselves to arrest.
