MLS Committee action items approved by Board of Directors
There were four action items from the MLS Committee that were approved by the Board of Directors in December. A synopsis of these are below:
Action Item #1: In the Add/Edit area of Flexmls, the Load Tax Record will be moved to the top of the screen. When attempting add the listing, if the “Load Tax Record” option is not attempted the member will be prompted one time about this. The reason for this change is an attempt to increase the number of listings where Tax Record SqFt is a completed field.
Action Item #2: FBS will perform custom programming to allow for the auto-population of ‘Corp Limit”, “Township” and “School District”. The data for this will be taken from the Tax District information from the County Auditors and compiled in a spreadsheet that will be maintained by MLS staff. Expected to be implemented 1st quarter of 2015.
Action Item #3: The flexmls system will by default set the two ‘Seller Directs” option on the Export tab to default to checked. This restores the functionality to the way it was under the previous MLS system.
Action Item #4: The current policy that prohibits wording to appear on photos will be modified to allow this. The wording may not be branding nor lead to branding. It is intended to be descriptive or informative about the object displayed in the image it appears on. i.e. “2nd bedroom” or “finished lower level"
