Central Ohio Housing Report - April 2014
Prices of central Ohio homes are up and continue to increase, but inventory still remains low. The median sale price of a home in April 2014 was 10 percent higher than the previous month as well as year. Inventory also continues to increase as the weather gets warmer. Read more.

NAR Flexes its lobbying muscle in DC
The National Association of Realtors flexed its lobbying muscle to members at its annual midyear conference in the District last week, calling attention to its aggressive fundraising and social media advocacy efforts this year. The real estate sector — from construction to brokerage to legal to financing and more — is a cornerstone of the Ohio economy, according to recent findings by the National Association of REALTORS®. In 2012 the industry’s economic impact on Ohio’s economy exceeded $68.4 billion, accounting for 13.3 percent of the gross state product. Read more.
