Funds need to be wired for closings beginning 4/6

As was discussed in an earlier article, legislation was passed late last year that amends Ohio’s “Good Funds” law. As a result of this legislation, a buyer (or a seller who has to provide funds to close) will no longer be able to bring cash, a personal or cashier’s check or money order to a closing if the aggregate amount exceeds $1,000. Instead, beginning on April 6, 2017, such funds will have to be wired. More info.
