BRAC -- We sell new builds!

Just a little about us! Collectively, we have 37 years of valuable knowledge in this business. Kim has worked for a few builders in the role of sales, marketing and sales management. Nikki started her career in new home sales and made the natural leap to be an agent many years ago. Our combined experience affords us the opportunity to support Mic Gordon’s Leadership Team "Learn, Earn & Give Back" mantra for 2017.

The Builder REALTOR® Alliance Committee is such a unique opportunity to bring new home builders and REALTORS® together. We are so grateful to be able to partner together and proud to have the chance to inspire those we have the privilege to meet this year.

Our vision:
LEARN – We have a robust schedule of learning opportunities this year!  Our first meeting in February allowed several builders to present “What’s New” this year to a room of nearly 100 agents! As the year progresses we plan to share ideas on how REALTORS® and Builder Reps can both utilize technology tailored to our business, photography, drone videos, and better understand construction processes. There will be a variety of presenters, which are experts in their fields, coming to share best practices for all.

Plus, there are two bus tours this year! The first tour (June 14) will visit the southeast area of Columbus, which is experiencing a robust return to new build opportunities, as that area is traditionally a bit more affordable than other areas around Columbus.

The second tour (Oct. 11) will provide the group with a new look at all that is happening in the desirable northwest area. Both tours are already filling up and space is limited for both attendees plus builders that want to show off their communities, so sign up now! Agents can sign up at columbusrealtors.com/events. Builders can e-mail us to learn more about how to get their neighborhoods on the tour agendas.

EARN – Our goal is to foster an enthusiastic setting where a thoughtful exchange of ideas and knowledge can make a real impact in our professional careers. We are passionate about what we do and we want the meetings to ignite a flame that will influence the earning potential for all that attend.

We encourage builder reps to get involved and bring information to the meetings that will aid REALTORS® in being current with details on inventory throughout the Greater Columbus Area. Likewise, we encourage REALTORS® to ask questions and to be eager to add new construction knowledge to their area of expertise.

GIVE BACK – The objective is to apply a ‘giving back’ mindset to each meeting and to keep that spirit alive all year long. We have helped to establish a private Facebook group that will be a platform for all members to stay abreast of new home opportunities. It is the perfect platform to share information about new build communities, new phases, new floorplans and just released inventory. To join, visit ‘New Builds – Columbus REALTORS®’ on Facebook and click Join Group’.

PLUS...we plan to finish the year with a Give Back Attitude, so if you attend six of the 10 BRAC meetings this year, we will have a little gift of gratitude for you at the December Holiday luncheon!

Here is a breakdown of the meeting themes for 2017.  Our meetings start promptly at 10a and we intend to keep the meeting time to 1 ½ hours. Plus, there are breakfast sponsors, so come ready to enjoy a little snack. We hope to see you next month!
