Central Ohio home sales in February were up for the second consecutive month. The average sale price of 151,072 was 7.3 percent higher than February of 2011.

January’s housing sales were the best since 2008, and homes in contract were up 47 percent. Inventory is now down to pre-boom levels.

The inventory of distressed properties for sale continues to decline as over one-third of the homes sold this year (January - September) have been lender-mediated.
